Giuseppe Cocomazzi

Security Engineer

Giuseppe's fascination with security started with kernel hacking and low-level programming way back as a teenager. He also loved applied math. So, it made perfect sense to him to dive into number-theoretic cryptography, a way to combine his two passions. Giuseppe has spent most of his career working on security R&D - finding vulnerabilities in network security devices and cryptographic systems, and even leveraging machine learning to make this process more efficient. These days, he is digging into blockchain technology, specifically how transactions are validated (consensus protocols) and zero-knowledge cryptography. When he is not working on all things security, Giuseppe enjoys the thrill of the hunt – always on the lookout for obscure computer books and math gems to add to his collection.
