Security Evangelist

Sebastian is a security evangelist at Asymmetric Research with significant experience in blockchain and computer security. Before joining AR, Sebastian spent six years at Quantstamp as a security auditor, honing his skills in smart contract code reviews, blockchain security and risk analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich, where his research explored areas such as symbolic execution, reverse engineering, malware detection, and software protection. Before joining web3 full-time, Sebastian worked as a security specialist at BMW, Philips, and Deloitte. In his free time, Sebastian enjoys building cool Lego sets with his 2 kids and going on fun bike rides with his family.
